Happy New Year – Make your Foundation Resolutions!!

Everyone knows the Rotary Foundation is the pounding heartbeat of Rotary. Without money circulating through the Rotary body, the body will dwindle and fail. Yet more than half of District 5710 Rotarians make ZERO contributions to the Foundation. Zero to annual fund; zero to PolioPlus; zero to the Endowment Fund.
My challenge to everyone for 2026 is to resolve you will make a donation to the Rotary Foundation, to any fund, in any amount. Please?
Simply go to Rotary.org, click the big blue “donate” button at the top right of the page, follow the easy prompts and make an instant gift via credit card or bank account. With one or two more clicks you can set that payment up on a regular monthly, quarterly or annual basis and become a strong stable supporter.
I challenge for all Rotarians to join the $100, $100, $100 club by donating that amount each year to the Annual Fund, the PolioPlus Fund and the Endowment Fund. If every District 5710 Rotarian did that we would add $300,000 to our giving and watch that magnify into peace, health and prosperity in Kansas and around the world.
We fully recognize the massive value of your individual club efforts in your local communities. Indeed, that is one of the pillars of a great club. But if your club is one of the zero-giving clubs to the Foundation, resolve to change that in 2026!
The Foundation team would be pleased to come to your club to talk about any or all the Rotary Foundation efforts. Contact Roger T. Aeschliman at raeschliman@corefirstbank.com or 785-267-8782.
