From the RI website: "Rotary Foundation alumni associations are a great way for alumni to stay in touch with each other and to continue to build their relationships with Rotary.  Associations are often affiliated with a Rotary district, although some reach out to include alumni from an entire country.  Active alumni associations generally organize social events, such as dinners or lunches; perform service projects with the help of a local Rotary or Rotaract club; and organize special fundraising events designed to support the mission of The Rotary Foundation."
Rotary Foundation "Alumni" are those who have participated in Foundation Programs, including Ambassadorial Scholar's, Group Study Exchange (GSE), World Peace Scholar's, Rotary Volunteers, and University Teacher grantees.  They may be Rotarians or non-Rotarians.
In January 2009, District 5710 chartered a District Foundation Alumni Association, whose membership is made up of Alumni who either reside in our District, or were sponsored by a club in our District.
Our Alumni Association would like to "connect" and keep in contact with all Alumni from our District and those Alumni from around the world who now reside in our District.
Our District Alumni Association was officially chartered on January 19th, 2009.
