What an honor for District 5710!
On September 9, our district received several outstanding honors during the Zone 29 Rotary Roadmap Recognition Celebration—culminating with District 5710 being named the 2025–2026 Zone 29 District of the Year!
Zone 29 includes 16 Rotary districts stretching from the Oklahoma Panhandle to northwest Ontario. The Rotary Roadmap recognizes districts for taking meaningful impactful action in four key areas: Membership, The Rotary Foundation, PolioPlus, and Public Image.
District 5710 earned a Regional Commendation in all four areas, making us an All-Star District!

We received another tremendous honor when District 5710 was named Zone 29 District of the Year for The Rotary Foundation!
Special thanks to District Foundation Chair Roger Aeschliman and his team: Maria Wilson, Ken Selzer, Faron Barr, Patti Mellard, Greg Shondell, Jennifer Berquist, Rebecca Gould, and Steven Graham. Their leadership and dedication helped our clubs and members achieve an exceptional year of Foundation support and impact – over $700,000 cash raised for The Annul Fund, Polio Plus, and The Endowment Fund!
And then came the biggest recognition of the evening:
District 5710 was named the 2025–2026 Zone 29 District of the Year!

My deepest thanks go to our District Leadership Team, committee chairs and their teams, club presidents and leaders—and especially to every District 5710 Rotarian whose service, generosity, leadership, and commitment made this possible.
Awards are wonderful, but what they represent matters even more: stronger clubs, greater friendships, more people engaged in Rotary, and more lives improved through service.
