See Your Giving Reflected in Grants and Projects
Rotary-wide Foundation last year we all raised $477 Million across the annual, endowment, PolioPlus, disaster, scholars and peace fund. What an incredible number. As a result, Rotary-wide, we did the following: 1,804 global grants, 463 district grants, and 61 disaster response grants in 2025-26; vaccinated more than 350 million children in 28 countries; opened our newest Rotary Peace Center at Symbiosis International University in India. Wow!!
District 5710’s Foundation committee just finished our hardest month of work with these results: 38 club grants awarded totaling $60,114, providing food, clothing and shelter, educational opportunities from infancy to post-college, health and safety efforts for varied audiences and much more. Clubs make it happen and Foundation funding greases the skids! Since 2014 the committee has awarded 558 grants and $911,169 for district projects. Nearly a Million bucks!! Wow!!!
The Foundation Committee in September also awarded global grants including PolioPlus support, funding for the district’s own global scholar program, and international projects like pediatric heart surgery in India, plastics reduction education right here in NE Kansas, water wells in Guatemala, and eye surgery in another part of India. District Rotarians and clubs are involved in all these efforts and are making things happen.
Your contributions to any of these efforts – local, world-wide, Polio – saves lives and help bring lasting peace. Please contribute to the Annual fund, PolioPlus and the Endowment Fund, in addition to your local support for your local club efforts. About half of our district Rotarians support one or more of these three efforts. Image what we could do if all of us donated just $100 a year for each fund!
