TEAM Seminar
TEAM Seminar is scheduled for August 15, 2026 in Lawrence. This event is hosted by the District so there are no fees for you. It provides an opportunity for the 2026-2027 District Governor, Michelle Sink, to set the stage for the year and for Rotarians to discuss “the big three”—Membership, The Rotary Foundation and Public Image. Team Seminar is a very popular event; we encourage all Rotarians interested in sharing perspectives to attend. New ideas can strengthen our clubs, grow membership, and retain members. This event also includes a free brunch with mimosas and Bloody Marys! (Keep an eye on your Inbox. Mandy will be sending out registration information in June.)
Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI)
We mentioned last month that we were to meet with the Lone Star RLI Division on 18 May. Here is our update regarding that meeting and our merger into the Lone Star RLI Division. The merger is complete! Our District 5710 membership in the Lone Star Division will support us in continuing to develop strong and confident Rotary leaders through RLI participation. We will continue to benefit from a centralized website and shared resources to include updated curriculum. Of course, the added benefit of collaborating and sharing best practices with other districts is always a plus!
Remember to let us know if your club is interested in hosting (providing a conference room/site and access to lunch) for an RLI (Rotary Leadership Institute).
