Recap of December Activities
A fun time was had by all at our last meeting of the year; we sang CHRISTmas carols (led by three Santas with the help of guest pianist, our very own Vanessa Reid), played holiday trivia & heard some relatively funny holiday jokes, and enjoyed wonderful fellowship!
Gary Cordes hosted our senior guest visitor from Basehor-Linwood High School at our last meeting in December. New Rotarian no longer; sponsor Doug Tystad cuts off Kelly Tystad's new member ribbon; Kelly completed several tasks and earned points to lose her new member ribbon - way to work it, Kelly!
Third grade dictionaries deliveries are complete finishing off with Lansing Elementary and Saint Xavier Elementary Schools; our club delivered just shy of 700 dictionaries this year to ten local schools.
During the CHRISTmas season we rang bells and invited community members who stopped by to beat the KC drum. We received many donations throughout the ringing process and hope that our time spent ringing helps our local Salvation Army meet their needs for 2026.
