Holiday Season of Service
Topeka South Rotary had a busy Holiday Season of Service that kicked off with Tree Decorating at Topeka Civic Theater, alongside Topeka High’s Interact Club, and ended with raising $1,415 for at the new Washburn University Rotaract club during the annual TSR Holiday Party. This season they also shopped, wrapped, and delivered gifts and food for 30 people in United Way’s Christmas Bureau; spent a Saturday assisting SLI with their Festival of Trees in Fairlawn Mall; and assembled 120 snow-much fun kits for students from Highland Park Central to take home over winter break.
