District 5710 Seeks Nominations for 2029–2030

Are you passionate about Rotary, enjoy working with others, and want to make an even greater difference?

District 5710 is seeking Rotarians interested in serving as our 2029–2030 District Governor!

Serving as District Governor is a rewarding opportunity to develop your leadership skills, build lasting friendships, support our clubs, and help strengthen Rotary throughout Northeast Kansas.

We encourage qualified Rotarians to consider this opportunity—and club members to encourage potential leaders to apply!

We are now accepting nominations for our 2029–2030 District Governor. 

Who Is Eligible?

Candidates must:

  • Have previously served as a Rotary Club President.
  • Have been a Rotarian for at least seven years when taking office on July 1, 2029.

What to Do - How to Apply and Timeline

Nomination Deadline: Friday, November 20, 2026

  1. Club Nomination: Candidates must be nominated by their Rotary club. Contact your club president or secretary to let them know your interest. They will give our Governor-Nominee Form to complete.

  2. Candidate Information: Following receipt of the nomination, candidates will be asked to submit a brief résumé highlighting their Rotary, professional, and other leadership experience, along with responses to several questions. about your interest in serving, ideas for strengthening our clubs, and concerns you have re our district.

  3. Interviews: The District Nominating Committee will interview candidates in January 2027, with the selection announced afterward.
