Working with the Lansing Lions Club at the Over-the-Counter Medicine Drive this month was great fun and very rewarding; we collected $1200 in cash donations and ten tubs of requested items for our free clinic. To date (since 2014) we have collected approximately $90,000 in OTC Meds and over $15,500 in cash donations for the Saint Vincent Clinic & Allways Community Health Center. Thanks to our very generous community members for their donations with a special thanks to our club members who worked our medicine drive!

We also supported our annual Leavenworth County Relay for Life; our relay team collected $53,465 of our county’s $78,425 donations. In addition, we served hamburgers & hot dogs during the evening of events.

Senior student visits have resumed; Kelsey (shown here with President Greg and Past President Rick) from Leavenworth High School visited this month. Each student that visits tells us about their experiences in high school, their college plans, and receives a highly coveted four-way test coin/keychain.

Rotary Park Clean Up is a monthly spring/summer/fall service project; we typically have a good group of folks show up to assist - many hands make for a quick clean up --- thanks to all who came out to volunteer.
