Every Club & Every Rotarian is the Image of Rotary

We hope that this message finds you well…
Please consider the following while thinking about your club's Public Image Message:
1.  Put a quick & easy caption and photo in the district newsletter about your club’s happenings each month…encourage your club members to check out the district newsletters…
2.  Develop a hashtag for your club and use it, i.e. #lvnrotariansrock, #d5710, something catchy…
3.  Do you have a Facebook page; if not, consider creating one.  If you do have a Facebook page, consider creating an Instagram page --- you can connect your Facebook page to your Instagram page and when you post to Facebook, it will automatically roll over to your Instagram page.  If you use both of these social media sites, you will reach twice the number of followers!  Make sure you also tag the D5710 Facebook page (@Rotary Clubs of Eastern Kansas - District 5710)…
4.  Remember to tell your club's story every chance you get; a lot of folks in our Kansas communities have no idea what Rotary is or what we do --- take every opportunity to let folks know what you are up to; wear your Rotary clothing proudly and when people ask you what Rotary is about, tell them…also remember that when you are in Rotary clothing, you are representing Rotary International, our district, and your club!
5.  It's wonderful to see photos on Facebook pages, but keep in mind that "action" photos are really great!
6.  And, if you have new members, please let us get to know them - post a photo of your new member with a few bullet comment details about your new member; this will help --- when you post to your page, be sure to hashtag #district5710easternkansas or #D5710 or @Rotary Clubs of Eastern Kansas - District 5710; if you do this, your post is likely to reach 41 other clubs.
